What are the location options for a photo session?

Location provides the environment and background for the photos you want to catch. I prefer to perform photo sessions outdoors to take advantage of scenery and natural lighting, but some sessions (like newborns) require indoor settings, and I have options for those, or indoor can be in your home. The location choice is ultimately your decision, but I do have several outdoor locations in the area that I can recommend. See the photo section or my website for locations samples.

What if there is not a session that describes exactly what I want?

Not all situations can be categorized perfectly. Don't worry, I can help ?.  You should get what you have in mind.  After all, a photo session is an investment in memories you want to be able to reflect on for years to come.  If you don't see what you are looking for in session options (or just have questions) please message me or call.  I would love to help you create your vision for the perfect photo session.

What is the process to reserve a photo session?

I want to make the process as simple as possible. To reserve a photo session you may call, message me or click here to book online.  Once a session date/time is set you will receive a short questionnaire to complete and return to me that will help me know more about you.  You will be provided with a photo session preparation packet that will provide suggestions for the session including clothing, colors, favorite items (toys for kids), etc.  Then just relax and enjoy!

What can I expect during a photo session?

First, expect a relaxed, fun and enjoyable time! I want you to be yourself!  I will meet you at the location so that I can arrive early and set up equipment, décor, etc.  Once on site I will guide you through poses, props and expressions so we can snap those memories!   There will be time for clothing changes if that is part of the session and I will ensure a means to change is provided.  If multiple locations are a part of the session, we will finish at one location and proceed to the next and repeat the process.

What happents after the photo session?

Once the session is complete I will organize your images and place them on The Picture Patch, LLC website in a private gallery for your images only. I will provide access to your photo gallery where you can review and select the images you would like to keep up to the total number of images for your session.  I will then do final edits to your selected images and place them into your photo gallery where you can download the digital images.  Any prints will also be made and shipped to you or delivered personally (your choice).  Please allow 3 weeks for the entire process to receive the final images.

What forms of payment are accepted? When is payment due for a session?

Acceptable forms are debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and cash. A $50 nonrefundable reservation deposit will be due at the time of booking.  This deposit will be applied to the final session/package total that is to be paid at the time of the photo session.

Are Prints or photo gifts other than those listed in the packages available?

Yes.  All sessions include digital images as part of the purchase and a premium print package is also available for each session (see session descriptions for details).  Print sizes are available from wallet to large portraits.  In addition, a variety of fun and unique photo gift items are available with specific request, such as photo mugs, photo books among others.  Various print finishes are also available including standard print metallic finish, true metallic prints, canvas, and fine art paper.   Please ask for details on your interests.
